Foster and Kemper
 Foster and Kemper state that anthropologists are latecomers to urban research, and that the earliest anthropological research took place as early as world war 2. For many years people have wondered and studied many other ways of living. The urban life. The way other people live, and make a living is a fascination. Along with research comes fieldwork. Which means going out and seeing for yourself how things come to be. Fieldwork is important because t makes it possible for us to see what we are doing wrong and trying not to repeat the past. I think that fieldwork is great because it gives us an up close look at how life really is. It shows us other people's important views and look on life. This helps us with how we see life and how we can make it better.

Bestor
Bestor informs us that fieldwork is valuable and crucial in finding out information and putting things together. To get an insight of how things are from other perspectives and other lives. The fieldwork done in Tokyo shows how busy a city is that is overpopulated. There were many stores and markets, the business was good. While interviewing locals he came to the conclusion that interviewing people wasn't the greatest way of gathering information. It provided him with limited information. The conclusion i came to was that in order to get a real sense of how some people live is by actually living like them, getting a real feel how how their lives come about each and every day.
